HUMANS - have no distinctive power, other than the basic advancements of mankind. There are no 'superhumans'. Those are genetically 'enhanced' people, not your good 'ol natural bred Human being. Come on now. Don't make me explain what a human is to you.
FALLEN ANGEL - It is said that the original Fallen fell from the sky to be amongst humans. That is how it was recorded, of the sudden intermingling, though really, they had just decided to make themselves known. No one ever thought it of importance to change the Fallen title amongst mankind. And so it was, and still is, the given name.
Fallen are BORN, not created.
almost ALL Fallen have wings. They are a very dominant trait - and even partial-breeds usually have their own wings.
Fallen have wings, at all times. However, just as Weres and Shifters have their own personal magic to change their shapes, Fallen Angels have their own sort of magic, to sort of "vanish" their wings. They still have their wings, however they are in a sort of non-existant state. Just as a Were, or Shifters' animal form hides.
Fallen prefer cold weather; heat can be deadly to them. It is unknown as to why, but heat affects them like no other.
Fallen, like the birds they resemble, have to learn to fly. Though for most it comes naturally.
the infant mortality rate for Fallen mixes with other species is very low. So half-breeds are a sort of miracle, in themselves.
WERE - are generally able to change whenever they choose, into their one creature. One. There are no inter-shifter/were species children that are known to have survived. Humans are exempt. If one parent is Human and the other is a fox shifter / were fox for example, the child would be a half-breed, fox-shifter / were fox and human. There are no foxes and birds (ex). You are born into whatever species you are.
Were's must change into their animal forms upon the midnight hour, during the full moon.
they can shift into their animal soul by calling to the magic within them.
Weres are BORN, not created.
often discriminate against shifters.
silver is deadly to them. It forces them to stay in whatever form they are in, if they are caged by it, or have a piece of it within them. Silver burns the skin, and numbs the body, until eventually asphyxiation takes place, if not treated or removed.
they're fast, and strong
they can be killed just as any might be, by a bullet, or whatnot - but in cases of injury, they usually heal very rapidly.
WEREWOLVES -are generally able to change whenever they choose, except they MUST change into their animal form upon the midnight hour of the full moon.
Werewolves are very sexual creatures, and often times have very little inhibitions.
obviously, all the rules of shifters apply to them.
Werewolves usually have a few mates at one time, though they're always looking for their Soul Mates (the one other wolf they'll settle down with for eternity.)
their Soul Mates aren't always other wolves.
sex is required during the week of the full moon. Basically, so that a wolves' hunger does not evolve into bloodlust.
they are usually on the slender side
their wolf coat reflects their human genes. For example, red hair=red coat, and so on.
in some places the werewolf's third finger is longer than the middle finger.
the eyes are the only thing that do not change during transformation into a wolf.
they are more intelligent, dangerous, and fierce than a regular wolf.
wolves aren't as strong or fast as Vampires
SHIFTER - are generally able to change whenever they choose, into their one creature. One. There are no inter-shifter/were species children that are known to have survived. Humans are exempt. If one parent is Human and the other is a fox shifter / were fox for example, the child would be a half-breed, fox-shifter / were fox and human. There are no foxes and birds (ex). You are born into whatever species you are.
they can shift into their animal soul by calling to the magic within them.
Shifters are BORN, not created.
often discriminate against weres.
silver is deadly to them. It forces them to stay in whatever form they are in, if they are caged by it, or have a piece of it within them. Silver burns the skin, and numbs the body, until eventually asphyxiation takes place, if not treated or removed.

they can be killed just as any might be, by a bullet, or whatnot - but in cases of injury, they usually heal very rapidly.
VAMPIRE - once living beings, they are now what is deemed 'undead'.
they cannot reproduce.
people cannot be turned simply by a bite - they must go through a blood ceremony.
the first few years of being a Vampire are hell. Vamp babies are consumed with bloodlust, and logic and intelligence subsides to basic needs: particularly, to feed.
- it is the creator's responsibility to care for their new 'spawn'.
they need blood to survive because it is the elixir of life; without blood they will die.
blood gives them energy, power and replenishes their bodies.
without it, most get cranky.
sunlight can burn, or kill them.
they grow stronger, over time, and become more gradually able to withstand sunlight. However, even the eldest Vampires known, can't stand twilight.
yes, vampires have fangs. However, they only portrude when they are about to feed, or when they are aroused.
yes, they can be knocked out.
Vamps are pale because most don't get much sunlight.
their skin gets cold, paler, etc. when they haven't fed properly.
Vampires die if they have been staked through the heart by wood, burned or by decapitation and removing the brain. For some reason, wood burns them, injures them, etc when it penetrates the skin. It's really unknown as to why - scientists believe it is something to do with vampire blood, because vampires can touch wood without injury.
religious symbols do not harm Vampires. Many, actually, are religious.
Vamps are what they were in life. Ex: an undead human, or an undead bird-shifter, etc.
There are such creatures out there that do not fall into the average categories. Dhampires, Skin-Walkers, and other strange mixes and breeds fall into this category. Check the Rules and Info board for more information.

St. Luthor
' Central City Park Located in the heart of St. Luthor is a large, and highly maintenanced park, known for it's lush green grasses, pond, and strange critter-inhabitants.
' NonHuman Race Association Headquarters A huge, towering gray building marks the backbone of the NonHuman resistance. The visible sectors are open to the public. Below ground, however, is home to Sleuths and workers of the NHRA, training centers, and other ominous and unseen phenomenon.
' Resedential (4 sub-boards) From the notoriously manicured, to the dilapidated, there is a huge variance amongst the quality of homes, just as there's a sure and ever-growing number of them. You must sign-up to get your own, in the Sign Ups board.
' SLPD A renovated warehouse, the St. Luthor Police Department sits snugly between an empty lot and other high-rise offices. SLPD responds to all 911 calls and deals with all Human discrepancies , passing off Non-Human incidents to the NHRA.

' St. Luthor Medical Center The hospital. Painted white, twenty stories tall and wide as your mother's bum after the holidays, LMC has the best day and night staff around. Which is good, given all the crime in the huge city.
' The Streets From common routes to alleyways and shadowy corners, the concrete jungle is very much alive. Where walking alone at night is not advised and dark, unfathomable stains sometimes litter pathways, the streets of St. Luthor are the atrium to the city's lifeblood.
Graveyard. Once a sanctuary for souls, the old Lutherian graveyard is now merely a showcase for the broken and faded. Stones and a few temples jut from greying earth, sodden and overgrown and stretching out as far as they eye can see. There are told to be a few underground societies that use broken in tombs as their headquarters, and souls that wander unchecked within the gated boundaries twenty-four hours a day. And don't forget the jaded freaks and addicts that find solace amongst the rotting stone and corpses...
Hatchet Valley A long sloping valley between the rolling hills of the Blue River Forest.

Kessley Cove Named for the first recorded man, Richard Kessley, to stake a claim on its shores, the sandy beaches of Kessley Cove, when not frozen over in the winter, are often used for various recreation. The beaches finish where the forest leaves off, surrounding St. Luthor.

Little Eden A small inlet off Kessley Cove, that is one of the most secluded and little-known wonders.

Port of St. Luthor Built as the first major trade route to come to the area and the reason St. Luthor has grown to what it is today, the port is one of the largest regions of the city. Most docks and warehouses are used for commercial trade and transport to this day, though the entire place is a dark, dangerous area. Commonly inhabited by loose, newly-turned Vamp offspring and drug addicts of all kinds, unless working or accompanied by a firearm the port is not a safe place.

Swamplands Forgotten marshes and swamps in the Blue River Forest that have, for centuries, been the means of the end of many men.
Lenity The city of Fallen Angels. Created by the Fallen in ancient times, Lenity is the epitome of the mixing of technology and ancient architecture. Built entirely of white stone, it sits like a halo atop its lone, fertile island.
