By the time he was done speaking, Sam was leaning forward with her elbows on the table and her eyes slightly wide. He was a hundred and thirteen? What was it like to live so long? To have to move through time like that.
"Wow," she said after a moment of silence. To hear him describe his life liek that was an unreal slap in the face. Her training had made it seem like all of the immortals were evil creatures, demons set on the earth by God as punishment. She never believed any of that, but she hadn`t ever talked to someone before about it. Hell, she had barely talked to anyone at all until this winter. Being with him now felt so odd, but hearing that? "No, I`m sorry. I`m sure it`s uncomfortable when people gawk and whatnot." She leaned back into her chair and looked down at her hands, letting her hair fall over her face.
-Am I BLUSHING? Oh, hell.-

He smiled, looking to the table with a shrug, discarded the now peeled label onto the table. "I don't really mind, see in from my way..." He grinned to her relaxedly. "I can't imaging aging anymore till I'm as old as my granny.. like when I see the turn of the next millennium?" He grinned nervously. "Or how can you survive without flying? People's curosity is justified. So gawking is okay... other reactions are so much." He said simply, finishing his beer and looking to the table nervously, before glancing to the dance floor.
"Anyway, we're here to have fun.." He said with a nervous little laugh. "Wanna go dance for a bit?" He smiled easily, the dance floor was filling up with people having a good time, the music was loud and the beat was vibrating through his feet.

Sam lowered her eyes to her drink as he spoke, glad that he wasn`t freaked out or anything. Maybe he couldn`t see her blush with the lighting. Hopefully.
"Of course. I gotta show you something good about this dismal place," she agreed with a grin and stood up. She smoothed her shirt down and finished her pink drink with a couple small sips. The strawberry liquid fizzed through her mouth and left a faint burn behind. It had been a while since she had anything with alcohol in it. Being drunk wasn`t the best condition while fighting. Intoxication on the immortal`s behalf had helped her a lot recently.
"I`m not much of a dancer, so I`m warning you now." Samantha added, walking backwards out towards the dance area.

He grinned broadly, sliding elegantly from his seat, following her, glancing quickly around. The floor was decently full of people having a good time, just starting to fill with bodies, all moving to a mindless beat, he could feel it pounding up his legs. "I dance okay?" He shrugged.
"But I've had a lot of practice..." He laughed, giving her a joking, but graceful swing of his hips, head and arms moving in time before straightening, grin dancing up through his eyes. "Just relax, if you're awful at least it's fun? And I promise to never dance like that again" He shouldered a path into the press of people a little.
