Allie rubbed his noggin again, watching her. He didn't think that she would want to run again, after he'd gotten hurt, so he assumed she was trying to help. "Well, alright," he mumbled, shifting back into a fox so that he could keep up. He went to her side, staying quick despite being a little dizzy. It wasn't really that bad of a bump, but it hurt more in fox form, with his tiny skull. Alec's tail wasn't wagging this time.

She watched his expression carefully, making a decision carefully, wagging her tail briefly before stepping back behind and taking her human form. Having decided that it would be easier to communicate as a human in this case. Swinging her hair out the way she spoke to him gently.
"Hey... why don't we get to my place and get you some ice and some painkillers. That looks like a nasty bump.." She smiled gently. "Um, my name's Natalia... we can go shifted, or human, I don't mind.. really what ever is more comfortable." She smiled awkwardly. She was used to conversing with wolves like this, but to a fox? It felt... strange.

He hurriedly shifted back, happy when there was less pressure on his head. "Uhm...sure," he said, rubbing his throbbing head again. "I'm Alec," he said awkwardly, holding out his free hand, "Sorry I had to go and hit my head...I don't always pay attention, hehe..." He was klutzy and rather blunt, but hey, he wasn't hostile or foaming at the mouth.

She smiled, shaking his hand elegantly, her movements still precise and gracefully as a human as well. "Not your fault." She smiled, he seemed like a good kid, honest and forth right. With any luck, maybe he'd get less clumsy with age and experience. "I have a younger brother... and trust me, he is way way worse..." She laughed lightly. "As a human, he's the kid who falls over his own feet thinking about a girl he's not related to, let alone in front of them. As a wolf..." She whistled lowly as they walked, moving branches carefully out the way as they walked.
"Well Marco, was um interesting to watch develop. Always falling down, always bounding right back up. And he was the youngest, so not matter what he did, or got himself, or all of into as kids, we looked after him." She smiled to him relaxedly. She loved talking about her family, she couldn't be with them anymore, and that broke her heart, but at least she had phone calls and fond, fond memories of the good ol' days.

Alec listened to her, walking alongside her, "How old is he?" he asked, "You sorta make it sound...past-tense." He didn't mention anything about his own chopped up family. With his mother gone, there was only his father and Koski, if pets counted. His steps were muffled in the grass, and he climbed over fallen logs on the path, keeping his attention on the graceful Were.

She smiled slowly. "21. He turned 21 a couple months ago." She shrugged. "We used to be really close. Youngest two out of five." She looked at him briefly, eyes full of sadness. "Just... now most of our pack are past tense. Family too... so we split..." She said slowly, hurt evident in her voice. "Doesn't look like we can ever get that back.. don't even have a pack.. which, ya know kinda hurts." She smiled weakly.
"Like you wanna hear about this though. One good wallop to the head, and I'm trying to cheer you up with tales of family woe, eh? Got lucky when you found me..." She laughed lightly, sniffing briefly, before briefly breathing out heavy. She stepped carefully over a fallen log, whilst ducking under a low branch, the city not so far now. "We can just find a street and grab a taxi, its not too far.." She smiled to the young shifter.

"No, no, it's fine!" Alec said quickly, putting his hands up, waving them slightly, "I don't mind. Really..." he smiled vaguely, glancing away from her. "It's kinda nice, y'know?" the teen shrugged a little, "Hearing about large families, I mean." He didn't elaborate. "Oh, look!" he quickened his pace, "You can see a lot from this hill!" he was still rubbing his sore head, but his eyes lit up at the view as he pushed their conversation to the back of his mind. Alec smiled to himself.

She smiled relaxedly, taking in the view with a low sigh. "Yeah, kinda awesome view here..." She said off handedly looking round. She noticed he didn't elaborate, so she didn't push the matter. "Well my car is parked over this way," She smiled using her head to show the way she meant, falling in step with him easily as he sped up. "So, how old are you?"

"Nineteen!" he said brightly, although he....didn't look it. Allie appeared to be 16 or 17 (poor guy). He was little and short, so misconceptions about his age were common. He followed her, wincing every once in awhile from his throbbing head. He ran a hand through his orange hair, checking on the bump. It definitely wasn't tiny...
(sorry as well, I'm on my way out the door)

She smiled, sliding down a bit of earth before catching her balance again. "You look younger..." She said with honesty. "But it's a good thing, and don't ever think different." She grinned broadly to him. "A lot of people would kill to look younger then they are." She said happily, finding the end to the dirt road she'd parked her car on.
Her head cracked to the side at the noise of a snapping twig. With a sharp intake of breath, and eyes, which thanks to her wolf form were sharper, and viewed the world in movement, identified a startled dear rather then someone sneaking round in the woods after them. She laughed at her jumpy reaction. However discrimination, and fanatics in her life made her more careful when she was shifting or running about. They soon reached her car. A slightly battered older truck. Obviously once a much loved vehicle. Black and shiny, though not brand new. And she loved it.

"It'll be cool when I'm old, I guess," Alec was saying, sliding down the tiny hill after her, "but right now it's pure hell." He didn't even bat an eyelash at the forest's noises; living in the city had caused him to grow up ignorant to the world's background music. He looked at her truck, smiling, "That's cool," he pointed out, "We don't have a car or anything. My dad takes the bus to work and everything." Allie didn't touch the truck, for fear of mottling it up somehow; not when she was being so nice to him. He controlled the urge to touch the 'shiny~'.

"Yeah, I can imagine that, but you'll be grateful one day.." She laughed. "Now I sound like a billion years old, but ya know." She shrugged. Looking to the truck with a broad grin, and a hefty smack to the bonnet.
"Yeah, she's okay. She was my older brother's, and I used to drive a Focus... so a definite upgrade with this old girl. You drive?" She smiled, opening the passenger door, pulling out a duffel bag and pulling out two sports drinks and two candy bars before throwing it all in the bed of the pick up.
She smiled, getting the key from under the wheel arch and hopping in. "Don't worry, she's a tough old girl." She winked. "You can touch her. I hate buses. Always been a driver, even though we lived in the city, we just always drove, everywhere we didn't walk too." She laughed lightly, seeing his apprehension. "Hop in, have a drink, some candy, whatever..."

"Sure, thanks," he said, hopping into the passenger seat. He accepted the chocolate bar and the drink, "I don't drive," he said, buckling up, "I think we had a car when I was little, but I don't remember it too well. It might not have even been ours..." he shrugged and bit into the candy. On an off-note (because Allie was the absolute king of saying random/inappropriate/weird things), Alec snorted, "Dad always said not to accept candy from strangers. Considering what you are, this is the whole shebang....candy, puppies, and dark vehicles." He grinned, because to him, it was a funny joke.

"Well, if you like, you can have a go in this beast some time." She smiled happily. "Everyone should at least know how to. Just in case." She said relaxedly. She turned the key and let the engine roar to life, opening the drinks bottle and resting it in the console, putting the chocolate behind the wheel. She put it in gear and worked the pickup back onto the track as he spoke, and soon they were happily rumbling along through the forest towards the city.
She laughed as he spoke, following the slightly random humor. She got that. In her life time she'd had quite enough of people trying to impress her with the cool, pretty and the shiny, so she tried to associate with people who were themselves more these days. "What can I say, the running you into a branch was all part of my plot." She winked, as they hit tarmac road quickly heading to the city on the quiet road.

"That's horrible!" Allie faked terror, then started giggling. It was nice to find someone to joke with. "As long as you don't suddenly wear a clown suit, we should be cool." He bit more into the chocolate-goodness, savoring the taste in his mouth. His father would sometimes buy chocolates, but not often enough for him to enjoy them. There was always too much chance that Koski would get into them, and chocolate was bad for dogs. He glanced out the window, "It was a nice day..." he murmured. It still appeared nice, though, but Allie wasn't even looking at the sky. He was studying the trees, some of whose leaves were blown upside down, signifying soon-to-come rain.
(OOC: the clown thing is a reference to the Killer Clown, if you know who that was)
