Natalia ran through the trees as near to silently as you could, the early morning sunshine beginning to weakly leak through the trees. Her coat was dark and sleek, to any human, just a beautiful wold, running solo, effortlessly through the trees. Paws barely brushing the leaf litter. She stopped on a grassy slope, near to the city. She'd had trouble sleeping last night and just gone running, let the wolf out and just let it rip. She missed pack life, always having people there, friends, family.
A slightly mournful howl is what she let loose as she lay down. She'd started to head back, but wasn't ready to give up her freedom quite yet, she wanted to run, play, communicate with her own kind, or at least someone half decent anyway. She lay down, head resting on her paws, as she watched the slope, and the nearby trees with disinterest.

Alec was wandering around in fox form. As usual, he'd left home to get away from trouble (ie; he'd broken something and had run away before his father came home). He realized too late, though, that he...had absolutely nothing to do. Allie had taken to pushing his small fox paws into the mud, watching the brown substance sink into his fur. It was cooling to his animal body; no sweating was always a hassle. He yipped in excitement as his front paws sank into the ground, but a sudden howl startled him, and in his sudden haste to move, he fell face-first into the stuff. The howl was from nearby, he noted as he pulled himself from the muck, furiously wiping at his face with his paws....but where, nearby? He sniffed the air and finally settled on a direction, creeping through the underbrush to where he was sure the sound had originated.

Hearing a shuffle in the undergrowth she turned her head delicately to the source of the noise. Sniffing the air carefully, keeping her ears and eyes focused on the bush she had pinpointed the noise from. Smelt like fox. Fox and young human, she could smell the city all over them. Shifter then...
She stood, shaking herself before slowly creeping, silently towards the bush, tail poised and body alert, senses on edge before crouching at the very end with her head cocked tail wagging. It seemed stupid, but without a pack she was lonely, and would run with anyone. And she meant anyone. And foxes weren't so far away from wolves, so this shifter could turn out to be a half decent person, she smiled to herself internally.

Allie peered at her from behind the leaves, blinking a few times. He knew that she (obviously) knew he was there, and most likely knew what he was, but he still didn't move. Instead, he stared from inside the undergrowth. Another wolf. It was always wolves... I think I could be hired as a wolf tracker,, Alec mentally sighed; he seemed to run into them quite often these days. His long, bushy tail thumped once on the ground, in a greeting of sorts, but his muscles were all tensed, ready to spring at the first hint that this was someone who was not to be trusted. Despite the fact that Allie was way too trusting and naive anyway...

As his tail moved she stepped back relaxing and moving back into the clearing, sitting back easily she waited for the little fox to join her. She kay down relaxedly, the day was still young after all and it wasn't like she had anywhere better to be.
She gave a little yap and a yawn, wagging her tail to encourage him out, deciding friendly was the way to go, not like se was over run with offers and friends ship or pack placements.

The situation seemed safe enough, so Allie exited his hiding place, nonchalantly trotting over to where the wolf lay and sitting next to her. He stared straight ahead, not making any attempt yet to communicate. His large, bat-like ears were straight up, twitching with every noise as he contemplated the situation. Finally, he wagged his tail and looked over to the wolf, his upper lip pulled up in a sort of animal-grin. His blunt personality was actually sort of amusing, and rather childish.

She watched as he seemed to sit next to her and think. He seemed quite an interesting character, as foxes you randomly meet go. In fact he seemed kinda of young and childlike, but ah well, if he was out this far by himself, she kind of had to assume he was late teens at the youngest sixteen or so. So it wouldn't hurt for her to talk to him.
As he gave a foxy little grin, she returned with one of her own mouth opening like a panting dog, lips pulled back, only with out the panting she sat up, and gently raised a paw and placed in on his shoulder in a kind of hello before removing it, making sure she was gentle, as foxes were smaller then wolves and she wouldn't want to hurt her new young friend. Tail flicking side to side as she did so to show her friendly intentions.

Allie blinked at the heavy paw, then wagged his tail again. She seemed nice enough, and looked like a lean, healthy wolf. He glanced around. No pack....? Nonetheless, no words were needed between them. Alec stood up, romping around in a quick circle, insinuating that they could go run around together, if she wanted to.
(ooc: Sorry it's so short)

She stood up, bowing back and stretching her front legs with a yowl {{like a yawn yelp thing my dog does lol}}, and standing up with a leap, tail wagging fast. Nope, no pack... her internal voice whispered to her as he looked around, shaking her head slowly before bounding after him a little bit, bow/stretching again, and bounding in the opposite direction playfully, looking over her shoulder tail wagging.
It had been a long time since she had 'played' as a wolf, before college and all the conflict in her in-fact, having family members, and friends who relied on you and your family put down like dogs took the fun out of life sometimes. As did going from being part of a powerful, (though she didn't like to think of it as such, criminal) rich family, to running away from a city you once owned. It felt good just to let go a bit. She barked at him, before running on a bit.

Alex yipped excitably, bounding over to catch up. His bushy tail was wagging constantly as he momentarily slowed down, dog-grinning at her again before shooting off over the terrain. He was little and quick, running full speed. Might as well give this a try, he had decided. He was no wolf, so he wasn't a pack...but maybe he could come out of this with a friend. Perhaps. He leaped over a fallen log, his tail still going crazy.

She watched as the little red fur ball sped off in the over direction, giving an excited bark before giving case, long legs covering the distance as she picked up speed, slowed down by undergrowth which she had to dodge, being taller then the lithe fox. She barked happily as she began to gain ground, tail wagging in a mirror image of his, body lowered to the ground to avoid branches, legs stretching out before her. She barked again, weaving closer and closer, it had taken a while but she was nearly caught up with him, body stretching long as she jumped a log happily enjoying the good run.

Alec yipped loudly as he ran, as if laughing. This was an incredible rush- to be out and about, and not alone, because Koski didn't count, as a legitimate dog... He turned his head back, to watch the approaching wolf...and...WHACK- he ran right into a thick, fallen log. Because he's cool like that. "Gyru~" Allie stumbled, seeing stars. His forepaws crossed, tripping him up, and he hit the ground, whining in his high-pitched fox voice. Not his greatest moment.

She yipped back joyously, before wincing as he hit the log. Long limbs scrambling briefly in an effort to stop, before just jumping over him as he hit the ground, yelping in sympathy. Tail swirling behind her as she turned and stopped, fairly graceful considering the situation.
Lowering her head as he whined, tail lowered as she walked towards him slowly, giving him a low whine in response. When she was close enough she gently pressed her nose into his neck, hopefully comfortingly. She lay down next to him, resting her head on her paws, and wagging her tail slowly, big brown eyes focused on him sympathetically.

Alec rubbed his head with his paws, his eyes screwed shut. he felt her nose by his neck, and when he heard her lie down nearby, he opened one eye, focusing it on her. He whined softly, since it still hurt, but was sort of comforted by the fact that she was pretty sympathetic. His tail briefly wagged, but because he wanted to properly check himself for injuries, he shifted back to his human form for the time being, rubbing his fingers through his orange hair. "I don't think it's bleeding...." he murmured, more to himself.

She whined back to him, watching as he changed back to human, taking in all the little details, well as much as she could with a wolf's vision, but more importantly she had all his smells down pretty well now, she'd recognize him anywhere. He looked young, well younger then she was, late teens maybe? She cocked her head as he spoke, shaking her head. She couldn't see or smell any.
She pressed her nose into his side briefly, resting a paw on his leg as she pulled her face back. Considering transforming, but unsure. She licked her lips briefly as she thought, inhaling the scent of the woods before making a decision. She'd take him back to hers and sort his head injury out. Bumping your head hurt like a bitch in her experience, and you never could be too careful with head injuries. She stood, barking and jumping up on her back legs to get his attention, before turning and walking in a new direction, stopping and sitting. Wagging her tail expectantly at him. It would be a faster journey in canine form.
