"You really shouldn`t have told me I`m allowed to ask questions," Sam replied, smiling back. "I am quite curious; being a human is quite boring, good job or no. I can`t imagine what it would be like to be able to fly." She finished off her coffee and looked over to the opposite wall, not really focusing on it. "And you didn`t run me down. I`m short, but I`m not easily plowed over." A wicked grin started to form. -oh, if only he knew. Maybe I`ll be able to tell him my secret. But not today. No, not today."
"Well, Alex, it`s almost six o`clock. As you know I am of the female type, and take a while to get dressed for most occasions. Do you need a ride anywhere or anything? I can give you directions to the club, if you want. "

He laughed. "I don't mind questions... I'm used to it. As for being able to fly.. maybe I'll show you sometime. It's amazing. I couldn't exist without it." He smiled to her honestly. He nodded. "Well I'm pretty heavy.. most the time people just flail or fall. It doesn't happen that often though, I'm used to being 6'2. When I was a teenager however... well, I was a walking accident." He smiled weakly, after 90 years he could look back and smile, but at the time, it had been painful, embarrassing, and nearly deadly as he'd grown into his wings and body. 6'2 came with an impressive wingspan, and when your 17, and can't walk down the stairs without tripping, well it made for some exciting moments for his brothers.
"Yeah on the directions, worst comes to worst, I'll stop at the library and I'll google map it." He smiled to her sweetly. "Could you drop me off at mine? If you can't just drop me somewhere quiet and I'll fly.." He said with a shrug.
